THE WALLACE MONUMENT
The monument takes you back some 700 years to the days
of Scotland's fight for independence and tells the story
of William Wallace (known as "Braveheart" in
the recent film).
The 220 foot tower offers fantastic views and it is here
that you can see his enormous two handed sword!
SS SIR WALTER SCOTT
The wonderful old steamship “Sir Walter Scott”,
plying the waters of the outstandingly beautiful Loch
Katrine as she has now being doing for over 100 years.
In addition to sailing on her, you can also hire a bicycle,
sail up the loch, and then cycle back and enjoy the most
stunning views in the Trossachs.
